The 1996 Northern California Experimental Music
Festival
The 1996 Northern California Experimental Music Festival was held
November 1st-2nd
(Friday-Saturday) at two separate venues around the Sacramento
area.
Friday
The Friday show was held at 6:00-10:00pm at California State
University, Sacramento. This show focused on the more academic style
experimental music.
Saturday
Saturday's show was held at the Guild Theatre again this year. The
Guild is located at 2830 35th Street in Sacramento. For more information
about the Guild, try: http://emrl.com/guild The show started
at 3:00pm with a pancake dinner at 6:30. This show featured the more
"noise" noise bands.
